This shift we were following the death of a Clinton police officer.  It was the second the community had seen in the last 7 months, making it the obvious lead.  I thought I did a good job of building out the beginning of the show with a rolling bam, a pre-squeeze and including other relevant information.  If I could do it over, I would incorporate more video.

Tuesday, February 6, 5am Block

I was especially proud of the content choice and structuring in this show.  I thought the memo lead led smoothly into the Tillerson/Venezuela clash story.  If I could do it over, I would again try to incorporate more video.
